Nike SB Dunk Low Raygun Tie-Dye a homage to Sandy Bodecker
Well, the Nike SB Dunk Low Raygun Tie-Dye a homage to Sandy Bodecker is coming on December 27th, 2019 at ZUPPORT-Store. In 2002 Nike had a basketball campaign, which was centered around a fictional basketball team which featured Nike’s best basketball athletes at that time. To name a few, there where Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Paul Pierce, Jason Williams, Baron Davis and Jermaine O’Neal. Then in 2005 Nike SB released the Nike Dunk Raygun, they came in two colorways, the Black one was called „Home“ and the White one was called „Away“.
What also made them also special was they where one of the few SB Dunk’s that where released in Toddler sizes. The Rayguns where part of the so called „golden age“ of Nike SB which also brought us great Tiffany Dunk or the Pigeon Dunk. Now in 2019 we get another installment of the „Raygun“ Dunk in the form of a Tie-Dye version of the original colorway, which is also a reference to Sandy Bodecker who passed away in 2018 but also was a big fan of the Roswell Rayguns and was often seen wearing a Tie-Dye Roswell Rayguns hoodie.
The new Rayguns are also going to release in an Black „Home“ and a Skateshop exclusive White „Away“ pair, Furthermore the Black „Home“ pair is once again going to release in Grade School and Toddler sizes. The Black „Home“ pair is coming with a pair of white laces on the other hand the White „Away“ pair is going to come with black laces.
